Analysis, part 4 - Front Opening

The width of the DS9/NEM cadet jumpsuit's yoke's front opening did not seem to be any more standardized than that of the duty jumpsuit (see our DS9/NEM duty jumpsuit analysis/tutorial), although the uniforms we observed were all cut "straight" (with the open edges parallel to the centermost quilt line) or slightly angled away from center.

So, to save us all some time, boredom, and possible frustration, we'll just tell you the three front opening "standard" options we at Bad Wolf have included with our jumpsuit pattern:

1 - Front opening angle = straight/parallel to edge
Lower trim "miter" intersects quilt line
Upper trim miter intersects (same) quilt line

2 - Front opening angle = ½ quilt line
Lower trim "miter" intersects quilt line
Upper trim miter intersects mid-quilt line

3 - Front opening angle = 1 quilt line
Lower trim "miter" intersects quilt line
Upper trim miter intersects quilt line
